Dichroic glass Jewellery

Skill level : 1 suitable for beginners)
Learn how to cut and layer glass to achieve different effects using vibrant and decorative dichroic glass. You’ll create simple shapes that can have findings glued on afterwards, as well as channel pendant and earrings to be fused in the shop’s kiln, which will be ready to be collected/posted out once fired. Your experienced tutor will discuss the practicalities of setting up a glass studio at home as well as the advantages and disadvantages of a microwave kiln/electric kiln set up.
Due to the potential sharpness of the glass you must be 16 or over to attend.
All materials are provided and you get to take home the jewellery you make (you will have to leave the resin to set before collecting). There will be fairtrade refreshments and you will also receive a 10% off voucher for purchases you make in the shop (exclusions apply, please see main workshop page for more details).
