Join us for the first Defence in Business event for 2026 'DiB x Society of American Military Engineers 2026 Kick-off Collab', brought to you by Defence in Business, the Society of American Military Engineers, and proudly sponsored by RSL Queensland.

The panel will include representatives from SAME, such as LCDR Bradford Garrigues from the US Navy, alongside Judd McCann and Brad Richardson. The panel will be hosted by DiB's very own Kelly Hopkins!

The Society of American Military Engineers leads collaborative efforts to identify and resolve national security infrastructure-related challenges. Founded in 1920, SAME unites public and private sector individuals and organizations from across the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental and facility management, cyber security, project planning, contracting and acquisition, and related disciplines in support of national security.

With over 18,000 followers on LinkedIn and thousands of members globally, SAME is a peak body for those in the Military Engineering space.

Together, our special guests will explore SAME's vision and mission as they start up operations here in Australia, with their official launch of the Australian chapter occurring in November 2025 at IndoPac. The panel will also cover off the many opportunities that SAME have on offer and how they can support defence industry.
