Jake Mehrmann (of Tan Vampires fame) will make his Diaspora Radio debut alongside fellow Tan Vampires (Nick Phaneuf and Greg Glasson.) And with Rick Habib, Diaspora Radio Veteran, behind the drums this will be a band you will not want to miss.
U2 has been many things in the 46 years since they formed: scrappy outsiders, rock royalty, untouchably cool and unwelcome guests to our iTunes party.
But in January of 1986 when they entered the studio to start recording The Joshua Tree they were artists with a vision of the American landscape and an inspiring production team in Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois to help them execute it.
John McCready of NME said in his review of the album at the time “... It's the sound of people still trying, still looking...”
Diaspora Radio believes this is what makes The Joshua Tree continue to feel vital all these years later.
