Dias Brazil @ SHRUB

A jazzy, funky take on classic Brazilian rhythms, Dias combine Latin American folk talents with a tight Scottish rhythm section to produce an exciting blend, full of dance, groove and ambient sounds. With added colour from instruments such as the berimbau, cavaquinho, conch shell and cuica the Dias take on samba and bossa beats brings a whole new dimension to Brasilica sounds.

There will be seated space for early arrivals and standing room for those who arrive later.

This is a non-ticketed event with donations being taken on the door. There will be hot and cold refreshments available for purchase. BYOB for alcoholic drinks with a small corkage fee.

ACCESS NOTES

The Zero Waste Hub is on the ground floor with a small step at the entrance. A ramp is available upon request. All the public spaces throughout the building are step free and there are gender neutral and powerchair accessible toilets (no changing places toilet) with hand rails.

Noisy sirens do go through the neighbourhood. We do not have a hearing loop installed.

Our venue is located near bus stops served by the following routes: 2, 35, 34, 16, 11, 24, 12, 10, 36, 47. There is limited on-street parking and paid parking on Castle Terrace (roughly 300 metres away by foot on partially cobbled path or 400+ via flatter paved paths).
