Catch the Diane Durrett & Soul Suga’ Friday, October 3, from 7–9 PM in the heart of Stone Mountain Village – 2nd St & East Mountain – thanks to the awesome crew at Outrun Brewing. They’re opening their space, their staff, and their hearts to keep the Tunes By the Tracks heart fires burning.

Internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, and producer Diane Durrett brings powerhouse soul, southern wit, and a velvet-smooth voice to every stage. Her 2022 album Put A Lid On It soared to #2 on the Soul Blues International Roots Music Chart, praised for its blend of passion, spontaneity, and groove.
Durrett has shared stages with Sting, Gregg Allman, and Chuck Leavell, and opened for icons including Tina Turner, KoKo Taylor, Delbert McClinton, and Derek Trucks. She has co-written with William Bell, Oliver Wood, Emily Sailers, and Bonnie Bramlett, and recorded with Grammy winners Brendan O’Brien and Kristian Bush.
In 2024, Durrett was elected President of the Recording Academy’s Atlanta Chapter (GRAMMYs). She has served on the board for eight years in leadership roles and also leads the Atlanta Women in Blues showcase, honored by the Atlanta Blues Society with a lifetime membership in 2023.
We’re thrilled to welcome Diane Durrett & Soul Suga’ to the SMV for Tunes By the Tracks. Without a doubt, Atlanta’s own blue-eyed soulstress and her band will raise the “Village” roof in true soul fashion!

The event goes on rain or shine (lightning or unsafe weather excluded) with music on tap from 7:00–9:00 PM. Bring your camp chair, your dancing shoes (if you’re so inclined), and - most of all - your heart for Village joy and camaraderie.
Outrun Brewing and our Village restaurants will be in full swing - and a few of our local shops throwing in with late hours too. With a beverage in hand and food options from Village restaurant favorites - or from Outrun’s featured food truck - it all adds up to a perfect evening.
Pro tip: Arrive early and linger late - stick around for the afterglow. SMV After Dark has a vibe all its own. This Friday might be just the spark you need to find your groove and join the rhythm of the night - Village style.
