River City Sound invites you to share our "diamond anniversary" in which our Winnipeg chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society celebrates 75 years of a cappella harmonizing.
Come and join two cousins Jack and Jill who debate the benefits of music in theatre and movies. Our chorus and quartets will demonstrate how music "from stage and screen" enhances our lives and memories.
We are delighted to welcome "St. Croix Crossing" as our Guest Quartet. St Croix Crossing had its beginnings early in 2010. The four members all have strong musical backgrounds including over 150 years of total barbershop experience. These talented four gentlemen have won the 2018 International Senior Quartet Championship and are the 2022 Land O' Lakes District Champions. The group is known for providing a variety of music to their audiences in a very entertaining show which I'm sure you all will enjoy.
Perhaps Stevie Wonder expressed it best when he stated "Music at its essence is what gives us memories. And the longer a song has existed in our lives the more memories we have of it."
