We are excited at The Penny Foundation, Inc. to share our campaign with you as we continue to make awareness to the community of the importance and need of a single family home for women and their children to come to when fleeing their domestic violence situation. All of the temporary shelters in the area for domestic violence victims are full and have a waiting list. There is such a need to help the victims of domestic violence and that is where The Penny Foundation, Inc. comes into play.
The Penny Foundation, Inc. is a 501c3 non profit organization founded in 2019. The vision is to provide housing, food and clothing to the women and their children who are victims of domestic violence. with a safe place to stay until they heal, emotionally and physically. We will provide case managers onsite along with counselors, life skills coach, educators, transportation and faith in support to help the women re-enter or enter back into society with dignity. Since TPF relies solely on donations, fundraisers, contributions and grants, it is important to continue our quest for funding.
