An ex-tennis pro (Ray Milland) wants to have his wealthy wife (Grace Kelly) murdered so he can get her inheritance. When he learns she is having an affair, he comes up with the perfect plan to K*ll her: blackmail an old acquaintance into carrying out the M**der.
