If you or someone you love has diabetes, chances are you have questions. You can attend this year’s Diabetes Awareness Day to learn more about the disease and how you can control it.The free event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 4:30-7 p.m. in Columbus Community Hospital’s first-floor conference center.
In addition to cooking demonstrations and informational sessions, free and discounted health screenings will also be available, including: bone density, vision, blood sugar and blood pressure assessments.
Bring the whole family to find out what’s new in diabetes, nutrition, exercise and other topics.
