The City of Rio Rancho Parks, Recreation and Community Services department, is excited to announce its First Annual Dia De Los Perros Pet Festival & Adopt-a-thon! Bring your dog (s) out to Cabezon Park for a pet parade and costume contest! Halloween Bags filled with lots of goodies will be given to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. There will also be various animal rescue groups and shelters there trying to find good homes for some loving animals, who are looking for a best friend to go home with. There will be food trucks and pet related vendors too! Call (505) 892-4499 for more information. All pet participants MUST have proof of vaccinations to register for the event. All pets MUST be kept on a leash
throughout the event.

On-site Registration Only for Pet Parade & Costume Contest is $5 per pet (cash or check only)
Pet Parade to show off costumes for contest begins at 12:00pm, voting immediately afterward, and Boo Baskets awarded to First, Second and Third place at 1:00 pm.
**Also excepting pet food and litter donations for Storehouse West during the event. **
