The Mexican Community of Wānaka warmly invites you and your whānau to join us in celebrating Día de los Muertos at Paetara Aspiring Central (the old Mitre 10 building). This event is open to all ages, offering a great opportunity to experience the rich traditions of Mexico.
Enjoy delicious authentic Mexican food, colourful altars honouring our loved ones who have passed, and engaging activities for the whole family. Workshops, arts and crafts, and lively music will keep children engaged, with plenty of activities for all to enjoy.
Feel free to bring photos of your loved ones who have passed, if you’re comfortable, and be a part of this meaningful celebration as we come together to remember and honor those no longer with us.
