Diálogos Duo's latest Brazilian Suite “Soirée for Pixinguinha” is designed as a virtual gathering of Brazilian Choro legends across generations - from Ernesto Nazareth, Garôto and Jacob do Bandolim to Hermeto Pascoal, Guinga and Yamandu Costa - honoring the great Pixinguinha (1897-1973) for his 125th birthday. This thirteen-movement work by Boukas features Choro’s varied genres, as well as samba, xaxado and chamamé!
