Join us in the afternoon of Saturday November 23 at SPAN Neighbourhood House to pack bags and write cards to donate to Share The Dignity's “It's In The Bag” campaign!The aim of the campaign is to distribute hygiene and menstrual essentials to people experiencing homelessness, fleeing family violence or struggling in other ways this holiday season. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.
Date: November 23, 2024
Time: 1pm to 5pm
Location: SPAN Community House. 64 Clyde St, Thornbury VIC 3071.
You’re welcome to bring items to donate (see the list of what we can include below), bring your own supplies to pack bags alongside us, or just come along and pack donated items with us, or sit and write cards that we can pop into each bag. There is no contribution too big or too small!
If you would like to donate items before the event, we have donation boxes at Giro Gioco Gift Shop, SPAN Community House and Reservoir Neighbourhood House accessible during open hours.
Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers, we simply can’t run an event without a cup of tea!
