Police Constable Degree Holder Entry Programme
The Degree Holder Entry Route Programme (DHEP) is a structured two-year programme that will be delivered by the Force in partnership with a University of Northampton.
During the 2-year period student officers will undertake a variety of learning and development activities, to equip and prepare them for the police officer role, mixed with operational deployment as a police officer.
Our DHEP pathway is fully funded by Northamptonshire Police, and at the successful conclusion of the programme, will be awarded a Level 6 Graduate Diploma in Professional Policing Practice.
A light-hearted and informal presentation is followed by a Q&A session, open to those considering a career with Northamptonshire Police.
From the initial steps of the recruitment and training process all the way through to shift patterns, career development, the equipment we carry and how it feels to be first on scene at a life-threatening incident.
