Come connect with fellow filmmakers in the Dallas area. Hone your screenplay and enjoy the imaginative works of others. The Dallas Filmakers Alliance is the perfect opportunity for the budding filmmaker or the seasoned veteran to share their work in progress and recieve constructive and friendly feedback.
What’s an Open Table Read?
An opportunity to share your script with a group of fellow writers who can present you with feedback. All table reads are run by mediators who will ensure that critiques are a pleasant and educational experience.
How's it work?
Bring in 5-15 pages of your current work in progress. Writers will be split into groups of 5-7 lead by a mediator. DFA Members will have the opportunity to have their works read first. Non-members will read after. Each script will be given 5 minutes of critique time.
Submissions:
Please email a PDF version of your script to [email protected]
Please format the subject line of the submission email as follows:
"Your Name - Title - # of pages - # of Characters"
