Dezzie D and the Stingrayz will be performing at the Gold Coast City Jazz Club from 7pm on Tuesday 3 June.Tapping into the vintage rhythm and blues sounds of the 1950's and 1960's, the modern band blends classic R&B, Americana, Swing, Soul, Jazz and Rock n Roll influences with a fresh twist.
Their music often evokes the energy and style of that era, think of the raw, infectious grooves of artist such as Etta James, Ruth Brown, and Solomon Burke, but with a contemporary energy.
