About this Event
Welcome to Sewcial Sewing in Newton Abbot with Devon Sews! Join us at Newton Abbot Library (Passmore Edwards Centre) for a fun and creative sewing event. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow sewing enthusiasts, share tips and tricks, and work on your latest projects together. People who sew clothes, free motion embroiderers, hand embroiderers and cross stitchers are all very welcome.
Devon Sews members can participate in the Art of Fiction project during the event, by decorating their own fabric patch with stitches and writing about their own creativity, or celebrating creative women they know. Read more about the work here.
As a community group we will need a contribution towards the room hire charge of £9 per person. Your place is not fully confirmed until your payment is received. Visit the Devon Sews Facebook group for information on how to make your payment. If there are low numbers booked to attend event it will not go ahead and you will be informed, so please get booking.
Please note we are a community group and there will not be any professional sewing teachers present.
Don't miss out on this chance to sewcialize and have a great time with like-minded individuals. See you there!
