As you all know, Devin has been working very hard, and for a very long time to finally become a citizen of the United States. Well, he friggin did it!
Due to my privilege I did not fully understand the work, the time, the money, and the dedication it takes to becoming a citizen of this country. I am so proud of him, and we get to celebrate about it! Do we really need a reason to party for Devin? Nah, but this is a really good one, regardless.
Important notes:
WOODWRIGHT BREWING CO. IS 18+. Please, please, please get babysitters. We want all of you here with us, but we will be renting the old wood shop with dangerous equipment, it is not an environment for kids. It is the brewery's policy that children are not on the premises, and we greatly ask you to respect this policy.
There is a giant parking garage off of Monroe, it is a quick walk to the brewery. There is brewery parking at 987 Howard Avenue as well, which is also a quick walk. There are few city spots available across Douglas, but keep in mind friends and family that cannot walk as far as you, etc. Limited handicap parking- so leave some spots open, if you can make the longer walk.
DO NOT park at the vet's office next door, please.
The Brewery is open until 6pm.
"But the invite says 4 to 9pm...."
I know.
From 4 to 6pm the tasting room bar is there, and the bartenders are amazing. When they do last call- we all move into the woodshop. Close out your tabs with them then.
We will have two kegs of beer on tap for your own pouring pleasure, some wine and canned seltzers, etc. No tab needed, no payment required. So PLEASE take care of your Woodwright bartenders, because they're family.
Little snacks and hand-held food will be provided, but y'all aint gettin fed a full dinner. More info TBD
Come hang out, come party, come celebrate Devin and his great achievements. We all know how perfect he is, and that friggin laugh.....
Chuckles will be provided free of cost per Devin.
