The Devil's Lake Hike is an organized weekend campout held each year in early fall at Devil's Lake State Park near Baraboo, Wisconsin. Badger Trails reserves all campsites in the state park for groups that register for the event. All campsites may be shared during the event. Hike the 500ft high bluffs along the 206 acre Devil's Lake at Wisconsin's largest State Park, weather and trail conditions permitting. The organized Saturday hike will include both the West and East bluffs of the park. Day Hikers are also welcome to join us for the hike (camping not required).
This event provides individuals, families, scouting and youth groups with the opportunity to hike the beautiful trails in Devil's Lake State Park. Meet others from other parts of the upper Midwest--including Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, and learn how the unique landforms within the park were formed. This is one event you don't want to miss!!!
If you are unable to attend the official hike you can register as a "Self-Guided Hiker" to receive the 2024 Devil's Lake Hike Patch and trail map in the mail so you can hike the trails on the day of your choice.

All who register with Badger Trails will receive the following:

Admission to either a family dance Saturday evening.
All reservations must be made through Badger Trails and NOT the WI State Park Reservation system.
Self-Guided Hiker $7/person - Not Attending
Day Hiking Fee $10 / person - Attending
Camping and Hiking $22 / person
Late Camping and Hiking $25 after September 20th
Children age 5 and under - Free
