Čertovy hlavy (The Devil’s Heads) are a pair of 9 metre high rock sculptures near the village of Želízy. They were created by Václav Levý in 1841–1846. It is a unique work in the Czech Republic. They are the second largest carved heads in the world, after the carvings of Mount Rushmore in the United States. We will visit not only The Devil’s Heads but also other sculptures that Václav Levý created in the area.MEETING PLACE AND TIME
At 8:20 a.m. at the bus stop Střížkov that is located right next to the metro station Střížkov (https://goo.gl/maps/x579hnVXFLgJo4519). The bus ride takes 40 minutes.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
We recommend comfortable hiking or running shoes, some water, food, fully charged phone, warm and waterproof clothes in case of raining. Bring your own food. We will end the hike with a picnic at the top of the hill with a nice view of the area.
DIFFICULTY: easy (13 km, short uphills)
ANY FEE?
Early bird price: 550 CZK per person, after 2 March: 600 CZK per person. The fee includes transportation by train and services of the skilled and friendly guide (excludes food, drinks, insurance).

CANCELLATION POLICY
For a full refund, cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the start date of the trip. For a 50 % refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the trip.
