Break away from the usual city scene and join us for an outdoor adventure on theSourland Mountain Ridge Loop.Located just a short trip from NYC, this hidden gem offers a refreshing change of pace with rugged trails, tranquil streams, and scenic views that feel worlds away from the urban grind.
What to Expect:
šæ A 5.8-mile moderate loop with a mix of forested paths, rocky terrain, and peaceful brookside trails.(Details)

What to Bring:
- Hiking boots/ Sturdy Sneae (required)āthis trail can get rocky and muddy in spots!
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (layers are your friend).
- A daypack with water, snacks, and a packed lunch.
- Camera or phone to capture the incredible views.

10:00 AM ā Meet at The Standard Biergarten in NYC
10:30 AM ā Depart for Sourland Mountain Preserve
12:00 AM ā Arrive at the trailhead and begin the hike
2:00 PM ā Snack break by Roaring Brook
3:00 PM ā Conclude the hike and head to a cozy nearby cafĆ©
5:00 PM ā Depart for NYC
Timing is approximate and will depend on traffic and the groupās pace.
