Relationships are the lifeblood of successful fundraising programs, and the foundation of any long-lasting relationship is trust. In this presentation, we will delve into how organizations can use ethical best practices to enhance trust and build lasting relationships with their donors. We will explore recommended policies and documents meant to fortify ethical frameworks. Real-world examples of ethical missteps will be shared, illuminating the consequences of unethical practices and providing valuable lessons to current practitioners. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of ethical fundraising and will walk away equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to uphold integrity, build donor confidence, and foster long-term relationships rooted in trust and transparency.
