A workshop for Primary Teachers, exploring the role of the Primary Arts Coordinator
About this Event

Birmingham Education Partnership (as part of Birmingham Creates) and Arts Connect are delivering a workshop for Primary Teachers, to explore the role of the Primary Arts Coordinator and how to strengthen provision across the arts and support school improvement.

The workshop will include: how to develop the role of arts lead/coordinator; auditing of provision; planning for progression; developing a strategy; implications of the Ofsted framework and commissioning artists. We will also be looking at how Artsmark and Arts Award can be used to maximum effect to strengthen a school’s arts and cultural provision and Cultural Capital.

The session will provide practical action planning and an opportunity to share issues and solutions with colleagues.

The event includes lunch and afternoon tea.
