Description: Counting Collections is a learner-centered activity designed to support students in making sense of quantity and the number system by engaging them in the counting of collections of objects. This approach helps build foundational mathematical skills in young learners, from preschool through 2nd grade. Counting Collections aligns to the 2023 CA Mathematics Framework.
Follow-Ups: There will be three (3) online follow-up sessions via Zoom. Those dates are September 16th, October 14th, and November 18th.
