Developing Industry Led Training in the Manufacturing & Engineering Sectors

Through the National Skills Fund, GMCA secured £7m to deliver Skills Bootcamps across a range of industries in Greater Manchester over 2022-2023.

Looking forwards to 2023-2024, employers have opportunity to design and deliver employer led skills bootcamps to help fill in demand skills vacancies in their industries in the next funding round.

This is an exciting opportunity for employers from the manufacturing & engineering sectors to hear about current skills bootcamp delivery and the opportunity to access funding whilst meeting other people from their industry.

We’d like to invite employers, sector bodies & training providers to our in-person engagement session, Monday 23rd January 9:30 – 11:30 am, at our offices GMCA, Tootal Buildings, 56 Oxford Street, Manchester M1 6EU.

This session is open to individuals who are involved in workforce planning and/or that have intelligence around skills needs (and potential gaps within the sector). This will be an interactive discussion and we would like to hear your thoughts around some key themes.
