About this Event

The role of Change Agent, Change Manager, Change Enabler and Change Facilitator is becoming more and more dependent upon the ability to take a coaching approach, to enable others to discover their pathway to successfully navigate change. The need to take on the role of coach and support your staff, stakeholders and others through change initiatives is a reflection that change is much more successful with people and having the skills to undertake that role is imperative to building the next generation of change agents.

This workshop will discuss the role of coaching in supporting others through change, build capability to coach others through change and practice using the Capillary coaching for change model.

Objectives:

  1. UnderstandĀ the role of coach and define coaching activity
  2. Learn the benefits of coaching for those experiencing change
  3. Practice and reflect uponĀ coaching as an enabler for change readiness and resiliency

Approach:

This session will focus on building the personal toolkit and practice coaching sessions as well as considering the dynamics of group coaching and key requirements for coaching others through a change experience.

Attendees will be required to undertake some in practice coaching sessions following the workshop and report back on the experience in a future individual meeting with the facilitator (in person or virtual). Coaching participants can be arranged for participants if needed.

Attendees should be prepared to participate in a number of role plays throughout both sessions.
