The lecture will be given by Inna Ganschow, and the title of the lecture is “Developing a Secure Digital Workflow for At-Risk Testimonies”. The lecture will be held in English.
Developing a Secure Digital Workflow for At-Risk Testimonies
Dr. Inna Ganschow will present her paper asking the following research question: Can we protect interviewees while safely disclosing interviews recorded during an ongoing war? How should a digital workflow for oral war testimonies be designed when the data involved are confidential under GDPR and the conflict is still ongoing? The outcome of the work the U-CORE project team in Luxembourg is a secure digital workflow specifically developed for the collection, storage, analysis, and disclosure of at-risk oral testimonies. Alongside discussions of the various components of this workflow — data collection, data modelling, data analysis, data storage, and data disclosure — the speaker also reflects on its implementation within an international and interdisciplinary research team.
