About this Event
Adobe famously said ‘Marketing has changed more in the last 2 years than in the last 50’. Every business wants marketing that gets results and stands out, but this is becoming increasingly challenging, particularly for small businesses where a few people may take on many different roles.
Research has shown that marketers now rely increasingly on soft skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, empathy and flexibility, as well as on technical ability. Creating a vision for your business is as crucial as your marketing strategy itself. So what is a marketer’s mindset, and how do you develop it?
Join Joolz Joseph, small business marketing motivator, to discover how today’s marketers think, and how to build a marketing mindset for success.
With over 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing, Joolz Joseph has worked with a wide range of blue chip clients and smaller businesses on direct and digital marketing strategies. She has an enthusiastic and insightful approach, and her clients describe her as ‘inspirational’, ‘energising' and ‘motivational’. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire Business School.
Light refreshments will be provided, including tea/coffee (V/Vg/GF available). Other catering options are available on campus in our cafes.
