About this Event
What:
brings journalists and locals together for a night of art, entertainment and storytelling by and for the people of Detroit. Think of it as a podcast, but live and on stage at the historic Film Theatre at the DIA.
Featuring:
Journalists, writers, editors and radio producers from WDET, Detroit Free Press, Planet Detroit, Bridge Detroit, Michigan Pubilic, Model D, Detroit Metro Times, Chalkbeat Detroit, and Twisted Storytellers go behind the scenes of their reporting, inviting readers into a world they’ve only observed from the outside. The theme of this year's Story Fest is "Singing From the Shadows".
Plus surprise performances, live music, art, drinks and more.

Detroit Story Fest is sponsored by the Knight Foundation. Additional support from: Friends of DFT and The Detroit Institute of Arts.
