About this Event
The Detroit PEAC Summer Cycling Program will take place on Fridays with 50 minute cycling instruction sessions at 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, or 2:00 pm. This will take place at Heillmann Recreation Center in Detroit. Assessments will be the first week of program on Friday, June 21st.
During this first day, you will attend a 30 minute session in which you will do the following:
- Meet the staff
- Set your cycling goals
- Ask any remaining questions you have
The cost of the program will be $60 per participant, with thanks to our supporters, including Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan Ralph C Wilson Fund for subsidizing the program costs. If cost is a barrier, we have scholarships available to meet you where you are at. Our motto is 'Everyone can ride', and being financially accessible is important to us.
If you have more than one participant, you must register them separately. Students must be five years or older to participate in the program. The Detroit site meets on the following dates: 6/21, 6/28, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, and 8/9.
