About this Event

Join us at the beautiful Fourth Tri Sanctuary on April 30th for an evening dedicated to exploring "The Art of Being Authentically & Vulnerably Yourself" with special guest Kacee Must. ? Kacee is the founder of Citizen Yoga and the co-founder of Fourth Tri Sanctuary. This event is tailored for women who are eager to delve into the depths of authenticity and vulnerability in a supportive and empowering space.

Discover the power of embracing your true self and the beauty of vulnerability as we engage in insightful discussions, share personal stories, and participate in meaningful activities. Connect with like-minded women, gain valuable insights, and leave feeling inspired and empowered to embrace your authentic self in all aspects of your life.

Being your authentic self and showing vulnerability are important for several reasons:

  • Self-Acceptance: Embracing your authentic self allows you to accept and love yourself for who you truly are, leading to greater self-esteem and inner peace.
  • Meaningful Relationships: Authenticity fosters genuine connections with others. When you are true to yourself, you attract people who appreciate and value you for who you are.
  • Emotional Health: Suppressing your true self can lead to stress, anxiety, and depression. Being authentic and vulnerable allows you to express your emotions freely, leading to better emotional well-being.
  • Inspiring Others: When you show vulnerability and authenticity, you inspire others to do the same. Your courage to be yourself can empower others to embrace their own authenticity.
  • Personal Growth: Being authentic requires self-awareness and introspection, which are essential for personal growth and development. Embracing vulnerability can also lead to new experiences and learning opportunities.

If you've been to a Connect before, you KNOW we always have extra goodies in addition to our speakers, presentations, and networking. We're so excited to be offering some incredible treats and experiences, like:

  • Charcuterie by Carm ?
  • Surprise fun drinks ?
  • KB Event Co. will be joining us with another truly magical setup ?
  • Gluten free and vegan treats ?
  • Snacks from The Channeled Baker ?
  • Sweet treats from Toots Sweets ?
  • Photo booth from Modern Social ? ?
  • And so many more surprises on the way . . .

Detroit Mom Connect is where moms can come together to build community and network with other women in the Detroit area. Community and connection are the foundation of everything we do here at Detroit Mom. We want to nurture relationships between women, be their cheerleaders, and lift them up. In a world where competition and comparison are the norm, we want to shatter those ideas with compassion, encouragement, and sisterhood. We're better together! And, ticket prices go right back into the event. They go towards the venue, the goodies, food and drinks, the education, etc. Your support is what helps these events take place each month. ?

? You asked, and we delivered! Previous Connect attendees have asked if it was possible to donate money towards another woman's ticket so that more local women could attend our events. So, we've added an option for you to donate money towards a ticket for a lucky local mom to attend the Connect as well. It's one of the reasons why we love the Connect community so very much. ? So you'll see that option when you click to purchase your ticket. It's totally voluntary, of course, but there if you're interested.

? Here's an idea of what you can expect from the evening:

  • 6:00 p.m.: Plan to arrive right when the event starts. Kacee and Elizabeth will be mingling with everyone and this is also a great time to network and meet the other women in the room! Don't be afraid to chat with someone new and share about yourself.
  • 6:45 p.m.: Around 6:45, after an introduction from Elizabeth, Kacee and Elizabeth will dive deep into the art of authenticity and vulnerability. It's going to be SO good.
  • 7:30 p.m.: Nope, the night isn't over yet! You'll have time to go off on your own to connect with everyone and do an activity.
  • Any remaining time is yours to network, connect, and shop.

Feel free to come for the entire event or just a little while! We're looking forward to seeing you!

P.S.: Tickets are only on sale through April 27. We have some really great custom surprises that come your way before you show up, and in order to have time to make sure everyone is included in what we put together, tickets won't be available after the 27th. You’ll also receive an email within a couple of days asking for your photo, bio, and your IG link all submitted in a google form. You’ll know who’s attending before you even arrive. ? But, it's imperative that you complete this form ASAP because we need time to organize everyone's info and send our items to the printer. If you don't submit the form, we won't be able to include you on our welcome board and in the attendee directory that's sent out before the event!
