Carl Craig has always been a visionary. A producer, composer, and architect of sound, his work pushes the boundaries of what techno can be — weaving orchestral arrangements, jazz sensibilities and machine funk into something entirely his own. His Detroit Love series has become a global movement, but it all starts with one thing: the deep-rooted love for his hometown and its sonic legacy.
Then there’s Moodymann — Kenny Dixon Jr. A spirit entirely his own. A protector of the groove. His music is raw, soulful and unmistakably Detroit. Funk, jazz, gospel, house — all blurred into a deeply personal, deeply human sound.
