Created by the 1974 City Charter, the Board of Police Commissioners provides community-led oversight of the police department. The BOPC Youth Advisory Panel members range from 15-24 years old and are committed to understanding and improving interactions with police officers and to expanding youth influence on 21st Century policing and public safety.
