Chopstick Holder Crafting Workshop
Close your eyes and let your hands work their magic!
Curated by birdintree, this hands-on design experiment unfolds in two parts. First, participants will be introduced to the core ideas of deTour and re-examining the bumble chopstick not just as a utensil, but to a design object steeped in culture and meaning. Then, our young artists will embark on a tactile journey with paper, exploring its possibility through cutting, folding, and shaping to bring their very own chopstick holders concepts to life.
Main materials: Wooden chopsticks and assorted papers
Date: Parent-child group - 30 November 2025 (Sunday)
Duration: 120 minutes
Participants: Parent–child group: For ages 6–8 with one accompanying parent (This group encourages both parent and child to focus on their individual creative experiences and will be a fun, bonding moment. Parents and children may at times take part in separate activities.)
* Registration is required if more than one child or parent will attend the event.
