Our August read is Show Don't Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld. Sittenfeld is NYT best selling author. This book is a collection of short stories. One reviewer said these are whip smart stories for the modern age. Another said she blends acerbic whit, shrewd insight and sharp eyed observation in this bravura collection. We picked it because it's getting a lot of buzz, it is a new genre for us, and summer is a busy time! Read one or read them all. We have started to read the book and can say the stories are provocative and hang out turning in your brain long after you finish reading them!
