Come along with Leicesterโs most famous policeman, inspector, and private detective, Tanky Smith, on a fun-filled journey! Step into his mysterious Victorian world, full of clever disguises and hidden secrets of Leicester. Hop aboard the trains of the past.
This theatrical tour brings history to life, creating an immersive experience for all.

In this Christmas Lights Special of Theatre on the Go, weโll shed light on Victorian Christmas traditions, exploring their origins and the festive customs that shaped the holiday season we know today.

Please note that children should be eager and prepared to walk for aroudn 25 min! The experience will cover the distance from (start of tour) 121A London Rd, Leicester LE2 0QT, to Leicester Train Station, and conclude at Town Hall Fountain (end of tour).
The Walking Theatre, including stops, will be 45 to 50 minutes long.
We advise you to either use street parking around LE2 0QT or use one of the following car parks (car park fees apply): NCP Leicester East St, East St, Leicester LE1 6NB, or Dover Street Car Park, 31-33 Dover St, Leicester LE1 6PW.
