About this Event
On May 8th, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at DeTar Hospital North will host its annual NICU reunion. Families of those who have had a baby in the NICU are invited to reunite with DeTar nurses, staff, and the in-house neonatologist to celebrate.
The event will start at 4:30 p.m. and refreshments will be served as well as photo opportunities for those wishing to attend.
When newborns are admitted to DeTar's NICU, a special bond is formed almost instantaneously between the parents and nursing staff. Being a level III NICU facility, we’re able to respond immediately to unexpected emergencies for preterm and fragile newborns–allowing for around the clock care and the chance to develop a deeper relationship with our patients. Given that strong bond between staff and the parents, DeTar decided to hold a NICU reunion each year to reconnect families with the staff.
