An immersive theatre event part of Anywhere Festival Brisbane. Destructive Nature
By putting modern life on the cutting table, Destructive Nature, takes a stab at the spirituality of the 21st century, Narcissism. Based on a loose retelling of the cautionary Greek myth, Narcissus and catapulting it into the present, Destructive Nature investigates the allure and agony of self-adoration, obsession, unrequited love, and disconnect in a social media driven world.
In a blend of movement, cinematic artistry, and ethereal melodies, this live performance pays homage to the traditions of Greek Theatre while examining the pitfalls of the contemporary soul.
Recommended for a mature audience (M15+).
