About this Event
Ever wonder what it would be like to fly to Mars? “Destination Mars: The New Frontier” gives audiences a close-up look at the work being done globally to make the dream of getting humans to Mars a reality. Fly through the International Space Station, where astronauts are already living and working in space, and explore the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Learn about the rockets and vehicles that will take humans beyond the Moon and, one day, all the way to Mars with narrators who include the first African American woman in space, Dr. Mae Jemison!
