Dessert is usually the favorite part of a meal. For some, it's the meal itself. The allure of a sweet treat is nearly irresistible, made all the better when paired with just the right beverage. Pairing wine with dessert can be a bit tricky, however. The wrong choice can make your slice of chocolate cake tasty metallic and, well, kinda gross. Pick the wrong treat for those sips of white wine, and you'll be nothing short of disappointed. When done right, desserty things and wine can be a spectacular combination.
