An acoustic duo, DeSoto Drive slings a bucketful of classic blues and boogie, old school rock and outlaw country. Originals? Check. Covers? Yep, Muddy and Buddy, Johnny and Bobby, Bo, Hank, Willie and Slim.
Guitarist James Murphy and harmonica player Ken Marten have performed and written together for 20 years. DeSoto Drive won the @DetroitBluesSociety ’s annual Music Challenge in June and will compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis this January. Swing with DeSoto Drive as they gear up for the trip.
