Immerse in our 5-day Holiday Camp to design and prototype 4 different project in a week!
About this Event

A 5-day Holiday Camp designed for children to explore various make and build projects; to test ideas through hands-on exploration, training dexterity, creative and critical thinking while learning new skills.

On Day 1 to 3, students will learn to Design a Home for themselves or their Family. They will learn to apply Design Thinking principles in understanding the needs and challenges of who they are designing for and be introduced to the basics of space planning for their home.

On Day 4, students will have fun and be creative in the Design an Ice Cream Truck where they will begin with sketching ideas for their moving vehicle and learn about the spatial considerations required to support the ice cream production and sales.

On the last day of the holiday camp (Day 5), upon completion of their Ice Cream Truck prototype, students will be introduced to the digital craft of Graphic Design with Canva. They will learn how Graphic Designers create visual content to communicate messages by applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, also understanding typography to design your Ice Cream Brand Logo and a Poster to advertise for the grand opening of their Ice Cream Truck.

We promise it will be five full days of fun learning; developing your creative eye and aesthetic sensibility in both digital 2D crafting and physical 3D prototyping.

Laptops will be provided for student’s logo, poster & menu design in Canva. We do encourage you to bring your own laptop or IPad to continue working on your project at home, if preferred. Do email [email protected] to let us know if you will be bringing your own laptop, a week before your holiday camp starts.

A specially prepared thumb drive will be gifted to each student to save all their digital work completed at the holiday camp.
