About this Event
Whether you're planning for a large or small garden, developing a garden design is an important first-step toward its success! It is a roadmap for success, can reduce stress, and help you make the most of your time and resources. Without a plan, it's easy to be sidetracked by distractions or feel overwhelmed. In this 3.5 hour workshop, we will focus on the following:

- Elements & Principles of Design
- Hands-On Activity: Creating a Base Plan
- Sketching Design Concepts & Plant Selection Basics
- Wrap-Up with Q&A
- Feedback and Next Steps
Jim Hawk is a longtime community advocate and educator who is following his passion for gardening with native plants and trees. Over the past 20 years, his love and relationship with natives has grown and today he is the Project Director for shortmeadow37206. He is establishing an urban native wildflower sanctuary in the heart of East Nashville (TN).
Join us in East Nashville for this three-hour session for only $85 (includes any printed materials). This session is intentionally limited to no more than 10 people.
