Designing in Scent: From Fantasy to Formula

This is not your average perfume workshop. Over two evenings, you’ll step into a creative lab where smell becomes colour, sound, and texture, where perfumes are imagined as worlds before they are ever blended.
Session 1: From Imagination to Draft
- Explore 10 raw materials through playful guessing games and cross-sensory descriptions.
- Think of ingredients not as recipes but as brush strokes, blenders, and clouds.
- Sketch your fantasy perfume brief using colours and words, defining the character, feel, and atmosphere of your scent.
- Blend two first drafts (two 3 ml bottles) to take home: one stripped-down, one with added texture.
Session 2: Refinement & Composition
- Share and debrief your creations through group narratives and gestalts.
- Add new facets and refine your blends.
- Finalize your composition in a 10 ml bottle to take home for further wearing and reflection.
This experience is designed for the curious and the creative, the ones who want more than a recipe, who want to design with abstraction, metaphor, and imagination. You’ll leave with a deeper way of thinking about scent and a perfume that carries your unique vision.
