Join the Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for “Alcohol Ink with Laura Denunzio.” Participants will learn how to manipulate alcohol inks on a couple of different paintings, including the use of inks to create and finish a silk scarf. A light lunch and all supplies to create are included in the supply fee. Participants will need to bring two cans of canned air for the workshop. The Museum of the Albemarle, a part of the Division of State History Museums, Office of Archives and History, is an agency of the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
A completed registration form and payment are necessary to have guaranteed registration for the event, that is nonrefundable. Registration forms are available in the lobby of the Museum of the Albemarle or can be found on Facebook or the Museum’s website at museumofthealbemarle.com.
