'10 Years in the Making'
Hobart’s prestigious Designed:Made Makers Market is set to showcase the exceptional works of over 30 Tasmanian designers, artists, and makers. Taking place on 6th, 7th & 8th of December 2024.
Held in the historic Hobart Town Hall, this event, celebrates 10 years of object design at the 2024 iteration.

Visitors can expect to see a wide array of works including furniture, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, glass, printmaking, and paper, encompassing both sculptural and functional objects.
The market will feature pieces from award-winning designers and artists whose works are held in collections globally, alongside emerging makers honing their skills and practice.
The Designed:Made Makers Market is more than just an exhibition; it's an opportunity to meet the makers, understand their process, and discuss bespoke ideas. "Making is a labour of love,"
Fredheim adds. "Personal interactions are an important part of making."
Alongside the market is a small exhibition showcasing one-off pieces by designedmade members, this year themed around ‘rethink/ remake'.
The event kicks off with drinks and nibbles on Friday night at 5pm.
