Design Your Own Perfumes Class - New York City

In this class students will design two of their very own customized perfumes. You'll learn easy fragrance blending techniques from Marla Bosworth. She will share her decades of perfume blending experience in this workshop to simplify and guide you in blending your own essential oils and natural fragrances to create signature blends.

What perfume and scent evokes in each of us is fascinating. Did you know that studies show that when presented with perfumes that are personally reminiscent for us, that we have more positive emotions, increased moods of comfort and happiness as well as a decrease in anxiety? Scientists believe that scent, memory and emotion are inseparably linked.

Students will experience a wide variety of high-quality essential oils and natural fragrances. Marla generously shares sources for all of her essential oils and natural fragrances. Students will bring out their inner alchemist by designing two of their very own bespoke signature natural perfume blends in beautiful, tall glass rollerball bottles to take home.

This class is intended for anyone interested in creating their own fragrance. No prior experience is needed.
