Step into the future where every detail from a human scan is meticulously crafted to create hyper-realistic avatars called MetaHumans that breathe life into the digital realm.
In this session you'll learn how to design your own Meta Human using state of the art software and equipment. After a break and lunch on us is where the fluid grace of dance will meet the cutting-edge technology of motion capture. Working with the Artistic Director at Scottish Dance Theatre, the company's professional dancers and researchers from Abertay and the University of Dundee you will help to develop a dance and will witness your dance piece take centre stage and transform into digital avatars in real-time. You'll also get the chance to have a go with some props!
Although aimed at kids, parents are encouraged to stay and observe during the event. This is a partnership event with the University of Dundee, Abertay University and Dundee Rep/Scottish Dance Theatre.
