Drop in and get creative with Fife-based artist Claire Christie in this fun, hands-on printmaking session for all ages. Whether you're a curious child, a creative teen, or an adult looking to try something new, you'll explore different printing techniques and make a unique piece of art to take home. No experience needed—just bring your imagination! This hands-on session also celebrates the rich history of linoleum printing—an art form deeply connected to Kirkcaldy’s industrial past. Once known as the linoleum capital of the world, Kirkcaldy played a central role in the development and global export of lino flooring, which later became a popular material for artists and printmakers. Discover how this humble material helped shape both the town’s identity and the world of printmaking.
