About this Event
The Design Remix Derby event is IIDA’s largest event of the year. It is a fashion competition where design teams collaborate with manufacturing product vendors and, using the vendor’s samples (tile, countertops, carpet, fabric, plastics, etc.) create an item and compete for prizes. This year, it is a derby theme and the teams are creating a one of a kind derby hat and supporting accessory. The event is also a silent auction with the proceeds benefitting IIDA and Make-A-Wish Utah.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Research shows that wishes can help children build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. IIDA is honored to give back to Make-A-Wish Utah.
